Tasha was named a Screen Daily Star of Tomorrow in 2023 and her work on the short film Enjoy won her the BSC Best Cinematography Short Film Award in 2021.
Tasha’s Feature Film credits include Ashley Walter’s directorial debut feature Animol, starring Stephen Graham, Naqqash Khalid’s BIFA nominated feature film In Camera starring Nabhaan Rizwaan, and BAFTA nominated GIRL for director Adura Onashile, which premiered in competition at Sundance 2023.
Tasha’s TV drama experience includes Apple TVs Masters of the Air (2nd Unit), The Tower (season 3) for Mammoth / ITV, Traces (season 2) for Alibi and two seasons of the BAFTA winning series 4stories - Adulting and A Mother’s Love for Channel 4. She also shot additional photography on the BAFTA Best Single Drama winner Sitting in Limbo, for director Stella Corradi.
Tasha’s other notable credits include Turner Prize Award winning film The Destructors, for artist Imran Perretta.
Before becoming a DOP Tasha worked as an assistant and then operator in the camera department on feature films and high-end drama for over 10 years, from assisting on Steve McQueen’s Hunger, and World War Z to operating on The Marvels.
